Today was one of those days that just didn't seem to end.  Actually, I've been having those days a lot more frequently since I started school...The things we do for higher education.  It'll be all worth it in the end, right?

Baptism: Cream suit and lace

Mondays are always a drag, though the fact that it's sunny today (and possibly through the week!) is a silver lining in my book.

Last saturday, as I have mentioned in one of the entries below, I went to a baptism at St. Andrews Church.  Can i just say that people should think about making baptisms slightly later than say, 10am?? omg, talk about people that look like they just dragged themselves out of bed! lol.  I felt slightly overdressed sitting near a man that was just wearing a hoodie and jeans. Whatever happened to the days when people actually dressed in their sunday's best for church and especially for baptisms??

This weekend --or this saturday rather, I will be attending a baptism for my cousin's son whom I have yet to see lol.  It seems like a last minute quickie baptism before the family all leaves for a wedding in the phils...

Every once in awhile i manage to get dressed up for work; today was one of those days.  i guess it doesn't come to often when co-workers sound surprised lol.

Houndstooth

The days just seem to get colder no matter what the day brings --rain or shine. 

I felt like wearing a dress but didn't really want to get cold....I know I should have worn leggings but since I was spending majority of the day indoors and a heater handy in my office, I figured it would do no harm to go bare --legs that is lol.

Winter Whites



For the third week of work, the days were quite nice so I decided to wear light hues to match the gorge weather!  I love pastels and any chance I can incorporate it into even winter weather will do for me! I find that anytime you can transcend pieces from one season to another, even if it's not one after another (like fall/winter) then it's a good buy in my book!

Harem Pants at work

Exhausting day at work...I feel like whenever I get a chance to catch up, things pile back up again --neverending cycle i suppose...I decided to be somewhat comfy at work today even though I still wore heels, I guess it was a trade-off.  I wore my new harem pants purchased while I was on vacation in NYC...

Sunday Errands: coral romper in a heatwave

Happy Sunday!  I hope everyone's had as good a weekend as I have.  Today was an errand day for me as I had to once again pick up stuff for my trip to NYC in a week! *yay!* I am so excited but I know I still have lots to do before my trip...

I decided to wear something super comfy to run around and do my errands.  I love rompers, they are so comfy and stylish...It's my answer to a lazy-dressing day --I don't have to worry about top and bottom..Just throw it on and off you go!

Color-blocking and fishtails

It has been good the last couple of days weather-wise so I decided to dress it up abit... The color-blocking kind of just came together at last minute there, since I thought my normal black and white motif may need abit of spicing up! on what i wore...

Birthday Lunch and Bandage Dress

The second to last day to a very long, stress-filled week.  We realized the two days before that a co-worker had a birthday a bit too late and had to quickly scramble up a quickie celebration...

It was a rainy day but i still decided to wear a bandage dress that I had long stored in my closet after confidently losing a few pounds.  It's one of my faves definitely, intricate front design and gives a great shape!

It was a slightly cloudy but not a bad morning so I decided to wear my spring-ish neutrals and creams.  I love ivory hues, they just look so clean and crisp!

The forecast called for spring-like temps and a guaranteed sunny day so I thought I'd bring my spring clothes out of hiatus and wear it just for today...Afterall, the rain was forecasted to come back the next day, so it's the perfect  opportunity today!

I was going to wear heels, but ended up just wearing my flats to be more comfortable.

OOTD: Wedding reception

I recently spoke of the wedding reception I went to for my bf's highschool friend.  It was a beautiful reception, simple and sweet--just all about celebration of love and commitment.  I had fun at the wedding, but didn't get to take one pic of my whole outfit! lol.  Well I thought, why not wear what i wore and show you all what I wore!

It was such a gorgeous sunny friday!  For casual friday, I decided to wear my colored jeans in a beautiful vibrant blue hue.  I gotta say, it beats the normal blue jean blues...

Today was quite unusual, I had a day off and therefore had some extra time in my day to run my errands.  It was a nice day and so I decided to wear a tunic out. I love wearing tunics, so easy to wear and so comfortable!

No OOTDs lately?

whatever happened to those OOTDs that used to be posted here, you ask!?

Well, there's a simple explanation for that....since the freezing and near zero temps lately, it's been hard to want to take pics of what I wear to keep warm.  I mean some have been cute and picture-worthy, but for now, i've chosen to opt out of posting any...that, and it's just been so busy lately! lol.

It's easier to take pics of inanimate objects, like things for my hauls! lol.

Once I find a smidgeon of time, I'll start posting OOTDs once again!
