Monday was an unofficial stat day for me and so I had a day to get around and do my 'off-day' errands. One thing that was unusually on the agenda for the day was an interview.
I've been checking my options work-wise lately and had a chance to take a meeting with a company that looks very promising. Of course i wanted to make a great impression and be someone that stands out so I decided to dress for the sunny weather with pastel and cream!

Outfit inspiration: sunday brunch!
Happy....monday!?
I decided to do another outfit pull for you...I decided to call this, Sunday Brunch! Yesterday was a beautiful sunday which my cousin and I spent walking around Robson. I found this dress at Aritzia, which I was surprised was under $100! I hardly find any dresses there for under that price! lol. It's from Talula and it's a great summer dress that can be dressed up or down, depending on the occasion!
To find out where the rest of the items are from..

Outfit of the Day: Holiday Outift for less...Idea #3
This is another outfit I thought I'd share. I love the flirty skirts that flow outward these days. It's so feminine and youthful! I love that it's soft and yet if you pair with a black sparkly top (as seen below) or with a bustier, it can turn edgy in no time! It kinda reminds me of the 80s style, madonna-ish and debbie gibson, the girly flowy minis they wore with tights. These would go great with lace tights underneath!
Black Tanktop: Urban Behavior - $17.80 regular (bought on sale 40% off - $10.68 on sale)
Belt - my own, came with a F21 dress
2 Tiered flowy Skirt - Forever 21 - $29.80
I love how during the holidays we put more effort into dressing up than most days. I love to dress up on a daily basis so I get excited that what I do that sounds weird to others becomes a normal thing during the holidays! lol.
This outfit looks more feminine than most of the outfits I'm used to wearing and it's great to venture out of one's comfort zone once in awhile.

OOTD: Holiday outfit for less...Idea #2
So Christmas is about two weeks away, the malls are super crowded and people are looking abit frazzled and stressed lol...I am taking the minimalist route this year--only buying presents for the few true friends and family. Any extra presents I end up giving will be made with my own hands--with love =)
So with the holidays approaching, the parties are getting on their way, I know I've gone to a few. I thought that I would show another outfit for the holidays. Here is a really inexpensive party dress idea (excuse the socks, it gets pretty cold in my room lol..oh and excuse the uber mess, I've been going through stuff for 'store, keep and donate' lol)
Sirens - $19.50 (CDN)
I love this dress. I thought it was such a steal! A simple, sparkly dress that is a show-stopper on its own. It cost me less than $30!!!! It is flattering but not too revealing, and though it is abit longer than what I'm used to for a party dress, even when it is taken to alteration, it will be worth the price! Just add a pretty pair of shoes and you are all set to go!

OOTD: Holiday Outfit for less...Idea #1
Along with the holidays comes the out of control spending for festivities, gifts and decorations that make christmas what it is...festive but stressful! There is no getting around spending a few bucks to prepare for the holidays, and no matter how I think each year I've got a handle on the holidays this year, it just seems to always know how to sneak up on me and blindside me!
If you love the events and festivities that come with the holidays like me, and like me you love to get glammed up for a night out (no matter what the event) then coming up with outfits can cost a lot of $$$. One outfit I found while shopping for a christmas party I'm going to is from Smart Set.
The Gold tunic is $38.00 regular price, but of the holiday sales, I got it on sale for $30.00 before tax. I love the shimmery gold thread embedded within the fabric itself instead of sequins. It sparkles without making me look like a disco ball. It would be great for a semi-formal shindig, but I think it could also make a great New Years Eve outfit!
I find that sometimes a great tunic can be just as sexy as a cocktail dress or gown for a holiday get-together. With the right accessories, it will stand out as a great eye-catching outfit!
Happy holidays!~*

A reason to err...shop?
Both my mom and brother celebrated double birthdays this month...HBD!
Another delightful surprise to welcome another year older for my brother is finding out that his convocation ceremony for CGA is going to be in November...Congratulations! The culmination of all that hard work and sleepless nights of homeworks and exams have finally paid off into a designation and the public props to prove it!
Of course my familia and I will be there to cheer him on and witness his graduation...With that being said, it brings me to another quest for an outfit! *yay!* another reason to shop!
Of course my already fully loaded closet isn't without any options...there is nothing wrong with closet shopping before venturing out to buy the perfect convocation ceremony outfit!
I love outfits-shopping for events =)
