Shopping like a postman...good times.

I felt like postman today...I went shopping with my cousin on Robson tonight intending to only go window shopping.  It literally changed weather multiple times--rain, hail and even a slushy snow, within the course of the night while we shopped.

Unexpectedly, I bought two shoes at BEBE.  I love them!

Also, today I used my new set of shadow refills from my second MAC Palette!

The hair was abit messy lol.

Face:
Revlon New Complexion foundation in Tender Peach
NYC Loose Setting powder
MAC concealer - NC30 (forgot which one)

Cheeks:
Nars Blush - Orgasm

Eyes:
MAC soft ochre paint pot
MAC silver ring e/s
MAC Moon's reflection e/s
MAC Deep Truth e/s
MAC Carbon e/s
NYC eyebrow set in brunette
MAC eyebrow gel - clear

Overall, a good night.  I had fun!

New Years Eve 'eve' mini Happy Hour

Things always work out for the best when you look at the silver lining in an unfortunate situation...

Having the previous plan we had be derailed tonight, we decided to go to downtown for a lil' nightcap instead at the Keg!
I love The Keg--delish food, good ambiance, great service!

It was really more of a nightcap--A cup of coffee, some conversation and the ultimate of desserts, Billy Miner Pie.  LUVS it.
Afterwards, we decided to stroll back to the car slowly, trying to enjoy the less populated Robson street after-hours all while trying to keep warm and cute...Hard task!  It looked lovely with all the bright lights strung around for the christmas time which, we figured, would come down sometime next week anyways--why not take advantage!?

Robson street is one of my fave places for shopping, happy hour and just plain strolling.  It's an outside mall, park and beach combined--all within walking distance..Why ask for more, I say.

T'was a great night, uneventful and unexpected but fun nonetheless.  We always try to make the best out of an unexpected situation!

A great way to spend the second to last day of 2010!

It's all in the weaves for spring/summer 2010!~*

beats:: poke her face - kid cudi (sudden onset of funny music somewhat makes me smile lol)
outfit of the day:: same as below
fave fashion accessory of the day/moment:: same as below lol

So again, I'm filthering through the online pages of Elle Magazine for what's new (since I'm sort of refusing to buy magazines at the moment) and before I could find what I was searching for, bam! I find another thing that catches my eye! lol.

I love woven accessories, they are so spring and summer! I've always gravitated to woven bags and jewelry even shoes when the warmer seasons come around, regardless of the trend.  I think that a woven bag or wicker shoes (such as a wicker made handbag) feels so light and airy that it just screams summer.  I luv luv the intricate weave design.  Apparently, Elle Mag has agreed with me, featuring the Woven Accessories for their spring trends.

I recently saw a wicker guess handbag from the Guess Accessories store on Robson Street on one of my jaunts with the cuz.  It was quite cute, though fairly pricey for a seasonal item.  Must find something inexpensive but just as fab! Shopping mission!! lol ~*
