Now I remember why I get giddy at the mere mention of fall!! *smiles*

A proud canadian, it's important to support the local talent in succeeding on the world stage...It is therefore a pleasure to write a short profile on an absolute fave local designer, Kimberley Newport-Mimran of Pink Tartan.

Sex & the city Quiz: which character am i?

I got sidetracked while doing the last bit of my endless menial tasks of the day and decided to take a quiz on Elle Canada on which character I would be if I were one of the ladies from 'Sex & the City' lol.  It's fun and certainly time worth wasted!

I answered the questions as honestly as I could, mind you, this is just a fun quiz.  Nevertheless, it was a shock to me to find out who I would be...
You're like Samantha ..... Watch out! You don't let anyone or anything get in your way. Some people think you come on too strong, but it's only because you know exactly what you want. You're not afraid to express your sexuality and it's your honest approach to life that makes people want to be around you. However, you can come across as harsh, so watch what you say to friends in times of need.
Certainly a shock to me! lol.

Quizzes can be amusing...When you think you know who it's going to be, your answers can reveal a whole other truth!

So fitting!

And another to add to the already growing collection....

Guess Camille Dress $138.00

Great things in small sizes!

I love minis....cupakes, sandwiches and even make-up!  They are small and compact, easy to bring everywhere and not so bulky!

Imagine my suprise when I happened to visit the MAC store (err--the make-up brand, not the computer brand lol) at metro and found that they came out with a range of essentials in mini travel sizes! love!

I love the Fix + , it subs for my Evian mineral spray when I'm at home, but when I'm out and about it's abit of a hassle to carry around.  the size of the regular bottle doesn't quite fit in my already heavy bag!  It's great to have travel sizes not just for travelling, but also when you want to have some essentials handy when you're out and can't spare any time to re-touch at home.

Another great thing about travel sizes is that if you want to try something but don't want to commit to a full bottle that's going to take forever to finish, you can always buy the travel size for a trial run.  I sometimes buy travel sizes just in case I want to change to a new product, then I don't feel guilty leaving a half empty bottle un-used.

Here are other products they've made travel sizes for....

If you don't lather these products on and finish the regular sized bottles in one sitting, then like me, you should be able to survive at least three weeks or so with these size of bottles.
