Work Wear: Animal instincts
Happy Thursday all! A short week, gorgeous sunny day and being one day away from the weekend are all awesome reasons to celebrate! I had a late night and barely got enough time to get ready this morning so I took the simple (and might i add rushed!) way out and wore all black lol which wouldn't have been the worst idea had it not been in the middle of a blistering summer heat! Since I went with all black today, the centerpiece to the outfit became the leopard blazer --adding not only abit of flare but color to an otherwise blah outfit.

The Classics.

The young go with the trend, but once you get older there is more of a transition to the classics that become your timeless pieces to work with and swear by. Here are my top pics for classics that --in my mind, will stand the test of time and prove to be as fashionable then as it is now.
Here are some classics that I am absolutely inlove with!
*sigh* A girl can dream..

On Trend: The Gladiator
Okay, so I'm not talking about some Russell Crow movie, nor will I be fighting in a Roman Coliseum somewhere lol. I am talking about the trend that sweeped the fashion runways years back, the gladiator sandals. It's not just any ol' gladiator style sandals, the knee-high Gladiator style sandals became a craze, showing up at Chanel '07 runway.
I am inlove with the gladiator sandals. It is so ruggedly trendy. It's an interesting take on the usual boring sandals, opting for a knee-length instead of stopping at the ankles.
It's a show-stopping pièce de résistance to an summer outfit. It entices much like a sheer stocking or fishnet tights, you see bits of skin but it's caged as part of a sandal.
I was elated to find that Michael Kors brought the trend back with his version of the sandal..
I love love love it! I don't mind if it's not so much in trend right now lol.

the feminine touch
The forecast called for spring-like temps and a guaranteed sunny day so I thought I'd bring my spring clothes out of hiatus and wear it just for today...Afterall, the rain was forecasted to come back the next day, so it's the perfect opportunity today!
I was going to wear heels, but ended up just wearing my flats to be more comfortable.

Hump Day OOTD: stripes!
Today was quite unusual, I had a day off and therefore had some extra time in my day to run my errands. It was a nice day and so I decided to wear a tunic out. I love wearing tunics, so easy to wear and so comfortable!
