Beadwork: Spring Jewelry.

I had a bit of time to look around Le Chateau after work while waiting for my brother to pick me up.  I love my work, being in downtown allows for lots of things to do without venturing too far.  I picked up two necklaces that would be sooo perfect for spring and even transition into fall!

So excited to use it as a finishing touch to one of my work outfits! I love fab finds! Best part, both were on sale for $6.99 each! awesome.

Fave fashion trend: tweeds

Okay, so I realize that with spring being just around the corner, there will be a changing of the guards--so to speak--of outfits.  Tweeds tend to be more of a fall/winter fashion staple, but I couldn't resist.

While on a shopping jaunt with my cousin, I found the tweed Guess cropped Betsy jacket that I have been searching at every store for!! Seriously--EVERY store...So when I happened to come across it at Richmond Center, i couldn't hesitate, I just had to get it!

Isn't it just gorgeous!? LooOoove! I have this craaazy love affair with cream, and to find a cream tweed jacket and so you can just imagine just how perfect this was.
The detailing of rope trim on the sleeve and bordering the edge of the jacket and around--so love!
I love the cream tweed fabric, and the shiny thread on the tweed makes it perfect for a night time outfit as well! I love versatile jackets.  It's all about double duty wear!! =)

Yes, I gush lol.  The best part? uh hello...I got it for under $40 on sale (also thanks to the $20 award for the loyalty points) while at regular price it would have cost me $168 before tax!

awesome deal.

Good vibes and positive energy to Japan!

I just want to take a moment and say how much of a tragedy has occurred in Japan.  There are no words to describe the suffering and loss but being strong, resilient people, the Japanese people pull through.  I send my prayers, positive vibes and well wishes to those in need.  I will continue to have the entire country in my prayers and in my thoughts.  It really puts things into perspective about what's important in our lives.  Tragedies will come and test our faith and strength to pull through.

I am hoping for the best because they are a strong nation that can recover and rebuild.
