Happy Victoria Day!

It was an interesting but good long weekend marked with weird weather in the beginning...

Weekend Haulage: BEBE

I had a great, relaxing weekend...the friday usual date night was postponed due to the bf's boys' giants game, but I saw him after so that was alright.  He made up for it by spending the whole day and night with me!  We had an early start to the saturday, with him wanting to rush over to NCIX to buy an SD card and a usb stick that was unfortunately out of stock...

We went from richmond to downtown.  It was chilly out since it snowed the night before.  It warmed up abit after a cup of coffee, and i got to pick up a few things I've always wanted to get from BEBE...

Operation Organization: the vanity

It's been a build-up of sorts, my cleaning my room.  I've been living in my new place for about two or three weeks now (its such a blur, much like the moving was lol).  I decided when I first moved in that I'd tackle my Operation Organization in a more manageable way for someone that works 9-5.

This is a neat jewelry organizer that I found while strolling at Home Sense.  I've been wandering the aisles of Home Sense for specific items that will help organize my room...and life!

to see how i've organized everything, read on!

Trends: Collar Necklaces

A trend to which I've been steering toward for jewelry is collar necklaces.  It's somewhat similar to bib necklaces except not so large and wide.  I love that if you're wearing a high neck, the jewelry makes the collar look more intricate.

Here's one I've recently seen that I abolsolutely love!

Cuff me...

There is only one such time that I would even consider saying the phrase 'cuff me, please!'...

Hermes Collier de Chiens bracelet approx. $1025
If a $1100 is too much in your mind to pay for a measley leather bracelet (that i think loosely translates into a dog collar bracelet!) as it is in mine, you may want to consider some less pricey alternatives..

Ann Taylor Cuff Bracelet $68 cdn

okay, i cheat--this one isn't leather but still a worthy alternative for a cuff bracelet!

Beadwork: Spring Jewelry.

I had a bit of time to look around Le Chateau after work while waiting for my brother to pick me up.  I love my work, being in downtown allows for lots of things to do without venturing too far.  I picked up two necklaces that would be sooo perfect for spring and even transition into fall!

So excited to use it as a finishing touch to one of my work outfits! I love fab finds! Best part, both were on sale for $6.99 each! awesome.

Hump day haulsies! XII haul!

If you want to find some great deals on clothes that are relatively inexpensive and fashionable (even trendy!) then Forever 21 is for you!

I went to the mall today with the parental units, and while my mom and dad went off to venture on their own, i went ahead and proceeded to the new Forever 21 that just opened in Richmond center mall.  I've been waiting for this branch to open since it was announced! lol.  It was still reasonably busy for a newly opened branch, but not so bad that I can walk around and actually cover some ground =)

and now my haul...

a cute pink with black polkadot makeup bag.  It's got two compartments so it's not so hard to look for my stuff! What a deal--$7.80 CDN!!  It's more girly than I'm used to but I just thought it was so cute!
A brown woven belt--okay, so I'm thinking abit ahead.  It's really for spring, but since it's so damn cold and I'm not in the habit of trying to look cute during the colder days, I don't expect to look fashionable within the next few weeks.  ugh.  Great deal again...$12.80 CDN.
I love this necklace but I may end up tweaking it abit.  I love the bib-style to it, great to match a tube top! =) I can't remember but i think it's $9.80 CDN.
Lastly, this grey fedora.  I love hats, and working for a hat company you'd think I'd have more hats and wear them more often; but I have the unfortunate curse of having a small head and therefore finding a fedora that fits snug is a bit of a challenge.  $15.90 CDN. (i think)

Cute eh? I mean the fedora! lol.

I love hauls at Forever 21.  I can usually make my dollar go further when shopping there as opposed to other places I love to frequent during shopping jaunts.  I love to mix and match fashion at different price-points.  I'm not a self-professed brand whore (honestly it's abit of a harsh term!).

*BLING!*

beats::

OOTD::

fave fashion accessory of the day/moment::

I thought since I'm always showing clothes, I might want to share some of my recent jewelry faves...

I love fashion jewelry and for now, I'm more on quantity more than quality since losing some precious valuables have soured me on the idea of wearing expensive jewelry.

Anyways, here are some of my few inexpensive but cute jewelry that helps to make my wardrobe pull together!
Aldo Gold Leaf earrings
2B gold chains necklace
Le Chateau Plastic Gold hoop earrings
Guess Silver Snake Bracelet

Foreve 21 pink necklace
Le Chateau Shell earrings

Forever 21 crystal ring
Forever 21 flower ring

Stone coloured Necklace

Teal Necklace:
(L) Forever 21 (R) Le Chateau

It's a mix of the ones I wear for lounging and clubbing and the ones that are more for office wear...I may be somewhat conservative in terms of wardrobe most times, but I try to be more creative and try to venture out of my usual black and white standard.

You don't always have to have the most eye-catching dress, it can be a bag, shoes or even jewelry that can complete the look into a heart-stopping outfit!
