Jumpsuits & Rompers: not just child's play

Ever since the epic fail of my missing out twice on the romper from Kardashians for BEBE romper, I've been obsessing about trying to find a close alternative.  Don't get me wrong, I've got multiple rompers ranging from beach wear to casual workout wear with a hood and even the dressy halter kind.

I love rompers and jumpsuits.  It eliminates the worry of putting together separates!  It's not just for little kids anymore, the styles and so do the fabrics it comes it!  You can look chic with a jumpsuit for a youthful look--from a sporty french terry to a dressy night-time wear of silk or satin.  Alot of the brands are jumping the bandwagon of having the piece as part of their spring collection.

check out my choice pics for jumpsuits and rompers!

BEBE has two stand-out pieces that I think will be a great addition to the spring wardrobe!
Brights being in season for spring/summer, the teal color will look just fabulously chic for a daytime coffee with the girls/errands outfit while changing footwear and jewelry can turn this cutesy jumpsuit into an awesome date-night outfit!

The Polka-dot romper is in trend this season with polka dots being in center stage with celebrities like Eva Longoria to Seleta Ebanks and even Olivia Wilde!  It's another day to night type of outfit that is so effortless, you won't know what to do about the extra hours you'll have from not having to wrack your brain over an outfit! lol.

For one a piece that won't break the bank (cause you know i'll always have a less pricier alternative! lol): Rory Beca for Forever 21 Geo Cutout Romper for $27.80(CDN).
Rory Beca for Forever 21 - $27.80
For a cute daytime look, pair with a braided leather belt and gladiator sandals.  To amp up the look for night time, change to a pair of plaform heels, add a thick belt and gold jewelry to contrast the black!

Rompers are not just for playtime anymore.  It can be integrated into our daily fashion and can be a refreshing, less time-consuming alternative to separates.

Hope it gave you ideas for spring/summer!
