Top 5 must-haves for fall/winter 2010

Since I discussed my pure joy for shopping (along with the teens) for clothes during the second-most busy time of the year for retail, I thought I'd discuss the few items I'm looking for at the moment.

Every year, I add on to my existing wardrobe, some of the must-haves of the season that complete my seasonal best look.

I only picked 5 because I don't compile huge lists to buy (that's kind of how you get bankrupt! lol).  I check my wardrobe instead for things that I may really need and add on to it.  I add as the season progresses...

The top 5, in no particular order:

Plaid shirts
I've recently gone gaga over these again! lol. I tried to curb my obsession but ever since my cross-border trip and when I found my fave plaid shirt at Abercrombie, I couldn't resist to want more! lol.  They can be quite cozy for fall and good for layering over tanktops or underneath cableknit chunky loose sweaters!

Loose Knit Sweater Wraps
I love these...They are super comfy if you buy the right one!  You can use to layer over a tanktop or shirt, or to use as a jacket! loves!  Any essential to fall dressing is to find warm knits, and when you buy one that is a wrap style (with a belt optional) then it will be your bestfriend for style!

Over the knee boots "The Hooker Boots"
I love these.  Julia Roberts once made them infamous in Pretty Woman, known as hooker boots.  Now a staple in any woman's closet for the colder season, it has transcended into the fashion runways and into the retail masses.  It's not only cozy since it goes up over the knee and covers alot more leg, but it's edgy and sexy.  You can buy one pair of flat boots that are good for the everyday, and one with sky-high heels that would just elevate your style for nights out.

The Henley & Tees
No matter how fashionable you are, there will be no escaping the basics.  I love shopping for basics, since they are part of my everyday staple, from going to the beach, running errands or even heading out on the town.  Basic wear is such an integral part of my fashion that I make sure I get good quality and a good price.  Henleys whether 3/4 sleeve or long sleeve are my obsession right now, or even regular short sleeve, long sleeve, v-neck or round-neck shirts...

Scarves & toques
I work for a hat company, true..so I know the importance of good accessories to help keep you warm and toasty this season.  I'm looking for nice quality thick materials to help keep me warm through the colder nights.  I am aiming for a sick-free winter this year! lol.

Of course there are others that I may want to get...but these are on the top of my list at the moment.

What are your top 5 must-haves for fall/winter 2010 season?
